What we are into Scott & English Sdn Bhd is into trading , primarily with the brand LG - which means Lucky Goldstar. Products include home appliances, audio visual equipment and multimedia articles. Which are all imported from LG's factories in Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and China. They may come in complete form or in parts. The latter is assembled locally.

Strong support from our LG principal is a contributing factor, too. Scott & English Electronis Sdn Bhd has over 103 employees in its workforce as at 31st October 1999. How we started Scott & English Electronics Sdn Bhd (SEE) was incorporated on 6th March 1990 and commenced operations in February 1996. We started out as a subsidiary of Scott & English (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. Initially in 1992, the LG agency was handled by Setron Sales & Services Sdn Bhd (SSS), a subsidiary of Setron (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. Being the subsidiary of Setron (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd too, Scott & English (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (SEM) acquired the LG agency.By 1993, SEM became a part of the HICOM group. When the LG division agreement with SSS ended in January 1996, it was awarded to SEE. Subsequently, Scott & English Electronics Sdn Bhd went through an equity restructuring exercise at the request of the HICOM group. We became the wholly owned subsidiary of Affinity Products Sdn Bhd - itself a subsidiary of the HICOM group - as of 31st March 1997.
